Wanted: Chinese Gingy.
Great news! In the past two days, we’ve succeeded in both hiring a nanny (ayi) for Wee P and getting P into the “kindergarten” here on campus. P went with me to check out the kindergarten today and cried when she realized she wasn’t going to be able to start today. I reminded her that everyone at the school speaks Mandarin and that for a while, she won’t be able to understand what people are saying to her. To this, she responded, “That’s okay. I’m sure I’ll find someone to play with.” If only adults could adapt to change so gracefully!
Although I’m sure P will be very happy at her new school, she deeply misses her babysitter/best friend. Today happens to be the birthday of the best babysitter in the world, so P has a message for her:

We love you, Gingy. See you in July!

Hooray! Mike was born in Borneo (dad anthropologist) and his brother Dan was P’s age – he learned to understand quickly. Slowed his English down a little, but he still got a full scholarship to Cornell, so obviously early worries were unfounded.
I’m having trouble with Interplanet Janet. itunes only has tv show (i accidently bought), which won’t transfer to the CD. Maybe I should try to buy CD. Surely Barnes and Noble will have. The song was the impetus for the whole CD and remains the linchpin, so I MUST FIND IT.
Found a really cool song called Science Genius Girl by Freezepop I am putting on it. And many more. . . so get me that address sometime! (no rush).

What a lovely surprise—There is nothing as good as hearing happy birthday from your best friend. I miss you so much….just cleaned your fingerprints off the tv screen this morning. I’ll be glad when you come home. Remember everything so you can tell me all about it. Love you.

This is certainly good to now lastly look for a site where the blogger absolutely understands what he’s sharing.

Do not enough money to buy some real estate? Worry no more, because that’s achievable to take the mortgage loans to work out such kind of problems. So take a college loan to buy all you want.
